Fields of Interest: In the Alan lab we use the model organism C. elegans to model human disease. In collaboration with the Lee lab in the Pharm/Tox department, we are investigating the role of dietary lipids in neurodegenerative disorders.

Fields of Interest: A major focus of my work is the application of computational methods to study the signaling and transcriptional regulatory networks that underlie the determination of cell fate, and the perturbation of these networks by environmental pollutants like dioxin.
