PHM 980: Problems

Section 730: Introduction to Medical Device Toxicology. This class will outline the foundations of medical device biocompatibility and toxicology, including a review of the regulatory expectations and standards, endpoint assessment, and the data needed for toxicological risk assessment (TRA) to assess safety of medical devices.

Section 735: Topics in Drug Discovery. This 2-credit special topics class covers the broad range of assays used in developing high-throughput screening methods. Students will learn practical considerations in choosing what series of small molecules to continue through the Drug Development pipeline.
