Bio

My broad research training and education (over 20 years) has been mainly focused on organic synthesis of natural products, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and small molecules for medicinal chemistry and SAR development. I have pursued research opportunities in academic and industrial settings which helped me develop expertise in a diverse set of technical skills including: a wide variety of synthetic organic / analytical techniques in characterizing small molecules, design and execution of cost effective and improved synthetic methods for scale up and large- scale synthesis, telescoping of synthetic sequences. In addition, in the last 10 years, as a member of the MSU drug discovery leadership team, I have developed and advanced my capabilities in early drug discovery research while supporting medicinal chemistry and drug design projects including: ADME and PK studies design and protocols, formulation, data analysis. I have developed wide expertise in analytical method development and mass spec. analysis for PK studies and metabolite ID analysis which has led to SAR enhancement. I have a proven track record in the form of patents, products & innovation.
