Naureen Fatima , PhD
Biography
I am a Postdoctoral Research fellow in Dr. Kyle Poulsen's laboratory in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. My goal is to establish novel therapeutic interventions for acute and chronic liver diseases, focusing on the role of macrophage migration inhibitory factor, which is a master regulator of immunity, and is shown to be an important target in alcohol associated-liver disease.
